VEG SUSHI
MADE BY MY YOUNGER SON
NISHKARSH GROVER
INGREDIENTS
Sushi rice - 3/4 cup
Water - 2 cups
Salt - 1/4 tablespoon
White wine vinegar - 2 tablespoons
NORI SHEETS - 2 nos
Capsicum - 1 no
Onion - 1 no
CUCUMBER - 1 no
Soy sauce - 1 small bowl
Wasabi - 1 tbsp
Pickled ginger - 10 gms
METHOD OF PREPARATION
1. Take a pan add washed sushi rice ,water and salt and let it boil then cover and cook till no water is left and rice becomes sticky.
2. Transfer it in a separate bowl and add rice wine vinegar and mix properly and let the rice cool down.
3. Now take sushi mat place a nori sheet on it and spread sushi rice on it and place onion slices , sliced capsicum and cucumber cut in rectangle in the middle.
4. roll up tightly using sushi mat.
5. Now divide it from the centre and cut it in equal parts and transfer in a plate for plating.
(For plating )
1. Now serve with soy sauce , pickled ginger and wasabi !!
